SEALSQ Corp Secures European Patent for Innovative “Back-to-Physical” NFT Technology in Semiconductor Authentication


GENEVA, SWITZERLAND, June 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — SEALSQ has obtained a European patent for “back-to-physical” NFT technology that enables trusted semiconductor authentication.

The newly granted claims are specifically designed to deliver non-fungible tokens (NFTs) directly into semiconductors, creating a tamper-resistant, hardware-integrated connection between digital assets and physical chips. This breakthrough enables NFTs to be permanently and verifiably pinned to secure silicon, creating an immutable chain of origin, authenticity, ownership and lifecycle management for semiconductor components deployed in critical infrastructure and high-value industries.
