Meanwhile, Development Works Food Co (TADAWUL:) added 9.97% or 8.90 points to end at 98.20 and Methanol Chemicals Company (TADAWUL:) was up 9.89% or 0.82 points to 9.11 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Emaar The Economic City (TADAWUL:), which fell 7.64% or 0.90 points to trade at 10.88 at the close. Saudi Electricity Company (TADAWUL:) fell 4.35% or 0.75 points to end at 16.50 and East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (TADAWUL:) fell 3.72% or 6.40 points to 165.60.
On the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange, rising stocks outnumbered falling stocks by 183 to 155, with 24 ending unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery rose 0.47% or 0.52 to $112.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for June delivery rose 7.78% or 7.87 to $109.03 a barrel, while June gold futures rose 0.49% or 23.00 to trade at $4,702.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR fell 0.16% to 4.32, while USD/SAR was unchanged 0.03% at 3.75.
U.S. dollar index futures rose 0.13% to 99.99.
