Quickswap Adopts Orbs Layer 3 Perps Stack After 81.8% Vote, Challenging CEX Execution

Quickswap has adopted Orbs’ Perpetual Hub Ultra 2.0 as the default infrastructure for perpetual futures trading on all supported chains, following a community governance vote that saw 81.8% of QUICK token holders support the transition.

The vote, titled “Complete Transfer of Decentralized Perpetuals to the Orbs Network,” replaces Quickswap’s previous Orbs-powered Falkor deployment on Polygon. The system runs entirely on Orbs Layer 3 infrastructure without third-party dependencies. Liquidity is available immediately with integrated routing across multiple deep sites, eliminating the need for bootstrapping at launch.

The platform uses a TEE-secured execution environment that scales incrementally and relies on cryptographically signed price feeds. The roots of the state are engaged on-chain via cumulative settlement.
